The weather is warming up again and nothing looks cuter then a ruffle nappy cover and matching singlet. And for the boys I have made up some nappy covers which are just as cute minus the ruffle. Here are some images from the last market. I have a new pattern for pinafores and am now creating super soft minky backed bibs. If your baby drools as much as my baby then these bibs are perfect, the triple layer keeps their clothes dry and best of all they are cute to look at! More images to come soon which will include new headbands and some tunic dresses.
Byron has been enjoying his food for awhile now. Not content to wait the recomended 6 months he started trying close to 5 months. He is now on 6 months and loving it, his favourite being porridge. He are a couple of pictures from when he first started.
Will post a few photos of some new dresses and nappy covers I have made for market this week.
Byron was hanging out to be old enough to start enjoying this amazing exersaucer! And now at 4 months he is the perfect age and is really enjoying the new upright bouncy position this new toy is allowing him. And for me, well an extra 15 minutes of free time is always appreciated!
Here he is Byron at 2 months growing very quickly. It is almost time for me to post a 3 month photo in a couple of weeks. We are adjusting to well to 4 children. The girls are besotted especially, Ruby who is like his second mommy. Jake is patiently waiting for Byron to start interacting more probably the best time for them will be when he is on his feet and they can kick a ball together. We are starting to sleep better but, colic is still very much a factor in sleepless nights around here. Will post some more photos soon, gosh I want a new camera!!!!
I find my time VERY limited now with a new baby, but have found doing these sets are less time consuming and work well for the winter months coming up. It has also allowed me to use up lots of offcuts I have. Notice the t-shirts for the boys with the Vespa's on them. I have many more t-shirt designs coming for boys, now that I have one of my own I am enjoying finding fabric to suit. Have a lovely Easter!
Ok so I have finally found a bit of time to do a bit of sewing in amongst caring for a beautiful yet demanding newborn. And I say demanding in a very endearing way. I sent my mom to do the Byron market for me this week and all went well. The footless tights with the ruffles were the big seller this week. I did very well with these combos last winter so will do them again. So while my time is limited I will concentrate on the tights and decorating t-shirts for the next few months before bringing out a new line for spring.
January 29th, 2009 we welcomed our 4th child into the world at 11:10am weighing 7 pounds 10. Byron Hugh Leard is our second son and is a very lucky boy to have a big brother and 2 big sisters who all love him to bits. He is now a month old and aside from a few feeding and settling issues everything is going well. He is stcking on the weight and has changed so much. These are his newborn pictures so will need to post some new ones soon. Life is busier thats for sure but a whole lot more enjoyable too with another new baby in the house!
Wow this pregnancy has flown by although now that I am in the home stretch it seems to have slowed down, usually the way though, when you are finally ready for something it takes forever! Some people did not even know I was pregnant, so here I am in full bloom just playing the waiting game now. I managed to do Byron markets yesterday and glad I did as it turned out to be a successful day. I am planning on the Channon markets next week and then that will be it until March. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years, I can not believe it is 2009 already! I will post some photos of fabric and new outfits this week.
Thought I would post a few more pictures. I took a lot but, the camera was on the wrong setting and many did not turn out too well. Still hoping to get and SLR camera but, will wait until 2009. Love the pumpkin shot! The second shot is Jake with baby Charlotte isn't she gorgeous! Third shot is Jake with Grandpa, whom we surprised with our visit he did not know we were coming and was very happy to see us as we were him! The final shot shows the colour of the fall leaves, what a beautiful time of year, too bad it leads into many blistery cold months.
Ok so it has been a very long time since my last post but, there is good reason for that. Jake and I went home to my hometown, Toronto Canada and we had an amazing 5 weeks! We missed the girls and Dave a lot but, it was so great to take Jake back to Canada it had been 3 years for him so he was due a trip. And I can not even explain the luxury of travelling with a child that is now old enough to be a companion as opposed to a very needy young child as lovely as they are. I hardly knew myself. We had fun visiting some Canadian icons like the CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Ottawa (the nation Capital) and of course all our lovely frinds and family. We were blessed to meet the new babies of my cousins little Charlotte and little Sebastion. The fall weather was just great and Jake enjoyed seeing all the leaves change colour and he got to carve a pumpkin with Uncle Brad and his cousins. Can't wait to go back! Thanks everyone for making out time so enjoyable!
